When one has boys, one looks forward to the day when they can contribute in the yardwork. This day finally came this September, when Scott gave both the boys the opportunity to learn how to operate the weed eater and the lawn mower. Brighton took over the lawn mower, and learned how to operate it in 3 easy steps:
Step 1, pull the cord to start the mower.
Step 2: Push down the yellow lever to engage the blades.
Step 3: (this is the hardest step of all) PUSH! Keep pushing til the grass looks all the same length.
Oops, step 4: Stop to check what I just ran over that is making the horrible noise.
Keaton is a lean, mean, grass-eating machine!
Watch out for your toes!

Cute! What great helpers! I remember Taylor being so excited to help mow the lawn. That didn't last long! Enjoy the enthusiasm while it lasts:)
