All Hallow's Eve 2012

The kids' school did a Halloween parade in the afternoon that I went to.  It was weird being there without any little tag-alongs, as the twins were in preschool at their own Halloween party.

After school we made chocolate suckers from a kit Aunt Michelle sent us last year.

Afterwards we went to Dad's office to trick or treat.  They were giving out full size candy bars, pumpkin pie and egg nog.  Scott wore this wig as part of his costume, which Brighton tried on.  It's Little Richard!

Afterwards, we stopped by Grandma LeBaron's, who fed the kids pizza, then went to Grandma and Grandpa Henry's.  Finally we made it back home for an hour of trick or treating.  Savannah, of course, went on her own with Chloe and friends.  It makes me sad how few years this lasts until they want to go with friends and not Mom anymore.  I made the kids walk fast, hoping the exertion would cause the baby to come sooner.  No luck!  Stubborn little dude stayed in.
We took some pics after everything was done.  The twins are the only ones that would cooperate with me.  The other 2 pulled their costumes off and refused to put them back on for photos.  Can you tell by their expressions that I had worn out the photographers welcome matt?

We love Halloween!

Pumpkin carving '12

We carved the pumpkins we got from the pumpkin patch the Monday before Halloween for FHE.

This is Keaton's funny face.  He cracks me up when he makes it.
Brighton has perfected that "I am humoring my mother while she shoots numerous photos of me, though I don't see the point of it" look.  This is it.  He carved his own pumpkin this year with no help.  I was very proud of him.

 Hard at work.
Savannah decided on a palm tree pattern.  It didn't turn out how she wanted it to, and got frustrated.
Waverly opted to paint hers this year.  The black lines are eyelashes on her princess pumpkin.
This was mine.  It was a gravestone surrounded by spooky tree branches.  My picture doesn't do it justice.  It was wicked!  Not really, but I sure did try!
I sure wish I had learned how to take photos at night.
Irelynd looks evil in this photo!

It was a 4 eyed, no horned, runnin' purple people eater

The boys discovered that they both can fit into Scott's jammie shorts, and have had fun being a 2-headed monster, running up and down the hallway.
These 2 enjoy playing together and wrestling together.  I hope they always have a good, brotherly relationship.

Prima Ballerina

Waverly and I were both so excited this year to have her start dance.  She takes ballet at Ivie League Dance, taught by a lady in our last ward.  She doesn't love the dancing, but she loves getting dressed up like a ballerina and going.

Scary dinner '12

In the past several years that we've done a Halloween dinner, we've found our favorites.  We love witch finger breadsticks,
 Dead man's hand meatloaf,
 Witch's brew root beer,
 ghost poop potatoes,

And anything sweet.  This was Wormy Oreo mud pie.

Pumpkin Walk

We went to the Pumpkin Walk at Central Utah Gardens again this year.  We really enjoyed it last year, and who can say no to free donuts?;)
 Iron Man
 Scarlet O'hara
Katniss Everdeen.  Savannah fell in love with Hunger Games this year after seeing the movie and reading the books.  Peeta is her current crush.
This is Waverly's "cute" pose.  I wish I'd had the time to find her purple leggings, but, 9 months pregnant, it wasn't gonna happen!
I had to take a picture of this pumpkin, as it was a Hunger Games design.  Savannah oohed and ahhed over it.  It was quite amazing!

Twin Mom Halloween party

This year's UVMOM Halloween party was planned by Bobbie Murphy.  We had some fun treats, and played some fun games.  The twins were excited to wear their Halloween costumes.  One their own, Brighton and the twins decided to be Jake, Izzy, and Cubby from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  However, on a shopping trip trying to find a Mockingjay pin for Savannah's Katniss Everdeen costume, Brighton found an Iron Man costume, and Jake was passed onto Keaton.  These costumes were simple, but it worked well, with Baby coming right after Halloween.  I think they made cute Disney pirates!
