5 months old

After Baby #6, I'm finally getting smart and using signs to tell me why I took the particular string of photos, and don't have to remember 1.why 2. who.

Boston is getting so BIG!  He is such a happy good-natured baby.  He doesn't cry much, except to tell us he's either poopy, hungry, or tired.  He is such a gift of peace to our our home!
One day Irelynd asked me if I have ever cried for joy.  The question was so unexpected and random that it caught me off guard, and instead of murmuring my usual, "sure", I had to stop and think about it.  "yes, many times" I told her.  She said she cries for joy when she is around Boston because she loves him so much.  Is that not the most priceless thing a mother could hear?  She has a heart of gold.  But he does bring so much love and heaven with him.  What a great gift a baby is!

I LOVE looking into his big, blue eyes when he looks at me with so much innocence in his expression.  Years from now, I will look at these pictures and remember his smell, the softness of his chubby cheeks as I nuzzled them, and his roly-poly fat legs that I love to tickle.  Why can't they stay little like this???
 This boy loves his mama!

Look at those ham hocks!  I wanted to capture just how chubby this boy is.

I love this stage, when they can smile and laugh and interact more.  It is my absolute favorite!

General Conference 2013

For our Conference store this year, we upgraded the items to things the kids needed anyway.  Nearly everyone got new clothes, Keaton got new underwear, and Savannah got a new zebra pattern purse.
Waverly insisted I take pictures of her in her new outfit.  Love the boots with it!  This pose was all her.

Passover Feast

We almost missed our Passover Feast this year due to Spring Break and Conference, but we just had it late.
I'm sure the sippy cups are very authentic Jewish:)  They had to do something to keep the grape juice from staining their robes.

Just Beat

It's unusual for this little boy to fall asleep anywhere but his crib, but we found Boston like this one afternoon.

Delivered by bunnies, not storks

Look what the Easter Bunny brought to us this year!

Easter 2013

We spent Easter this year with the Henry side cousins, but we stopped to visit Grandma LeBaron first.  I took advantage of her beautiful backyard to snap some spring photos of my kids.
This look is pure Waverly.  She is so full of energy and personality!

And these, of course, are Keaton to a T.

 This kid is a monkey!

"Blech!  What'd she have to kiss me for?"

I love the gorgeous spring light that makes pictures so perfect!  Look at that beautiful blue sky!

These 2 love to play on Grandma's play house.  Keaton had to get in the picture with his brother.

 Brothers
Look at the mischeviousness brewing in his eyes!

Everybody always wants a picture with Boston.  He's the Big Man on Campus currently.
My nephew Eric and wife Kellee came to visit while on Spring Break in Utah.  We were excited to see them, and the two girls enjoyed having each other there to play with.  Kashlyn is a little lady like Waverly so they got along great!

Scott's "I know you're taking my picture so I'm going to ignore you" look

After leaving my mom's, we went to Steve and Lara's for our Easter egg hunt, as they have a great yard for this.  Grandma and Grandpa have it down to a science, and they do it in waves.  This is Wave #1 for the littlest kids.

Wave #2 was Brighton, Cami and Cadi (the "other" twins)
Brighton wasted no time in getting out there and grabbing.  This is a great symbolic picture of Brighton in general:  always in motion, going after what he wants with great energy and abandon, and not worrying about who's looking.  If I could only learn to appreciate that and channel that more in a positive direction, he'd be an unstoppable force for good.

Next was Irelynd, Grace, Maddie and Lizzie.

Boston and Sophia will join the ranks next year when they can walk.  And eat chocolate bunnies.  Boston is just learning how to sit up.  Timber!

And last was the 3 oldest cousins (minus Joshua): Baker, Chloe and Savannah.  I remember when we called them "the babies".  Time speeds on.

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a photo of Grandma and Grandpa with their posterity, minus Boston and Sophia (and Joshua).  17 grandchildren.  All because 2 people fell in love...
