The great pumpkin de-gutting

Like the book Pooh's Pumpkin, after waiting all spring and summer, watching our little green balls turn into big, round orange pumpkins, we finally were able to pick them and carve them!  Unfortunately, we were victims of Pumpkin Smashers this year, and lost 2 of our big, beautiful pumpkins.  Dumb teenagers.  That didn't dampen our fun though.  I helped Keaton carve his, since the carver is still too hard for him to use.  Brighton dug right into his, designing his own face and carving it himself.

What a scary, gruesome face!  {the pumpkin too.  haha!}
This was Savannah's design.  Unfortunately, I didn't get an after photo of hers and Irelynd's.
