Hope of America

Last month Savannah was able to participate in The Hope of America, an event organized by Provo's Freedom Festival.  Fifth graders from close to 100 elementary schools in Utah county were invited to sing together at the Marriott Center at BYU.  Savannah is part of a white stripe on the top right hand corner.  See her?  Yeah, we couldn't either.  It was a really neat show, with the kids singing patriotic songs.  Our favorite was We can be a light, where the lights went off and the kids used flashlights.  Savannah's favorite part was watching The Golden Girls dance, and a 92-yr-old grandma do the splits.  It doesn't get much better than that:)

Hey, I see her now, and surely there is no cooler girl than her. Awesome! Record her singing and post it here on your blog. Those of us long distance will appreciate her talent.

Wow, what a neat thing to be a part of! I bet she'll always remember that one. A 92 year old grandma doing the splits - that's impressive!
